I’m conceptual film photographer from Raleigh, NC, based in Los Angeles, CA.
Hi! I’m Linus.
Shortly after picking up a film camera, I quickly fell in love with creating concepts and worlds by manipulating light and color into anything I could think of.
Paired with film cameras from decades ago, loaded with gorgeous film stocks, and carefully processed and scanned by me, I hope to create images that stand the test of time and take the viewer to the same world I set out to create.
Early conceptual works from 2018/2019. Click the images to see the whole concept!
My work and love for photography extends far past conceptual shoots. In a single week, I may be shooting natural light portraits, on the set of a music video, photographing a single or an album cover, and more.
In moving to LA, I became part of the team at CineStill Film as a video producer and host of their Youtube channel.
Videos on the CineStill film’s youtube channel provide entertaining, evergreen, educational videos on Film photography, Film Processing, Film Scanning, and more.

A large part of my identity as a film photographer has been documenting an assortment of my photoshoots and ideas in the form of youtube videos. Many of my videos are based around the challenge of shooting with a certain camera and film stock in a lower light, studio scenario.
